Toughened Laminated Glass
LG Glass & Glazing Ltd have experience in supplying glass to the most demanding of projects. As modern architecture is constantly changing, so are the glazing specifications for buildings. Laminated glass is a type of safety glass, which comprises two or more layers of glass with an interlayer between them. In the event of a breakage, the interlayer bonds the glass together and prevents it from breaking into large, sharp pieces – so it’s ideal if you want to make safety a priority without compromising on appearance. For high specification and added strength, the glass is often toughened and then laminated.
LG Glass & Glazing Ltd has invested significantly so that it can produce the highest quality of toughened laminated glass on the market. Aswell as an ultra clear interlayer, solid colour or transparent colour interlayer can be used, and also various “inserts” can be used within the interlayer. See the brochures below which illustrate some of the different options available. We can also supply structural SPG interlayer.
Applications for toughened laminated glass include glass ballastrading, canopies, floor glass, structural glazing, ect. Each specification will be different for this process, so please get in touch to discuss your requirement with us.
